State issues timeshare fraud alertScams targeting people eager to dump their timeshares are spreading throughout California, prompting the state Department of Real Estate to issue a fraud alert warning the public about the practice. The San Diego FBI office also issued a similar alert, the U-T San Diego newspaper reported.
