On April 5, 1993, the Fairfax County Circuit Court issued an opinion in Plate v. Board of Directors, Kincannon Place Condominium Unit Owners’ Association related to the scope of condominium association’s authority to regulate parking on common elements.
The Palmetto Trace homeowners association wants the Panama City Beach Council to pass a law that would ban parking on streets in their community, but some homeowners aren’t taking kindly to the proposal.
“’Some of the streets are narrower than others,” Strange said. “The whole neighborhood has a bad design. People are parking in the street, which is legal. But on the narrow streets people are parking on both sides, which makes it really hard to get through.’”
